1. The Next Bus Arrival Time Enquiry function provides users with the driving status of the bus.

   • Displays the estimated time of arrival (ETA) for the next 3 arrivals within 60 minutes for all Citybus routes, including KMB and Long Win departures for jointly operated routes, as well as the ETA for Kowloon Motor Bus / Long Win Bus, New Lantao Bus, and Green minibuses provided by Data.gov.hk
   • Exclusively displays the actual distance between the current location of the bus and the selected stop on Citybus routes. Also alerts the user when a delay is detected or when the bus cannot continue its journey.
   • Allows users to customize the method of ETA display in either "countdown minutes" or "arrival time".

2. The Nearby Route search allows users to get the ETA of all franchised buses and minibus routes nearby.

   • Displays the next bus ETA and nearest bus stop for all routes within a 400m radius from the current or selected location.
   • Displays bookmarked or frequently checked routes at the top of the list.
   • Provides a "Bookmark" and "History" page to manage bookmarked or checked routes.

3. The Find Nearby Bus Stop on map feature allows users to view all routes calling a specific bus stop and their next bus ETA.

4. The Powerful Bookmark function allows users to bookmark desired routes and bus stops, and receive push notifications on the latest news.

Retrieves the next bus ETA of bookmarked routes and bus stops in the "Bookmark" page. Users can edit the sequence of bookmarks to prioritize favorite routes. Enables push notifications to receive route-specific customer notices and special arrangements based on the bookmarks. Allows users to bookmark their origin and destination to speed up nearby bus stop search and point-to-point search.

5. The Look for ETA by destination feature suggests direct Citybus routes from the user's current location to the selected destination, providing the ETA to the nearest bus stop.

   • If there is no direct route available, the system provides a combination of Citybus routes to reach the destination.

6. The Intelligent Point to Point Route Search feature displays the fastest, cheapest, or route with less walking required Citybus routes at the user's selected time of travel.

   • Provides estimated journey time integrating timetable, historical bus journey times, ETA, and user walking time.
   • Includes Octopus interchange and fare concessions when displaying fare information.

7. The Alight Reminder feature reminds users to alight from the bus in two phases, based on the distance to the bus stop. Users can preset up to 10 alight reminders, which are automatically deleted upon arrival at the selected bus stop.

8. The Instant Traffic News feature provides special traffic news from the Transport Department and Citybus.

9. The Fare Concession feature allows users to easily access the Citybus fare concession page, which offers various bus-bus interchange and other fare discounts.

Remarks:

• The automatic search for nearest routes and bus stops function utilizes the location service of your device.
• When the alight reminder is enabled, the app uses the location service of your device continuously until arrival at the selected bus stop, which may drain battery.
• Next bus ETA, alight reminder, and search results of point-to-point search are for reference only and subject to traffic conditions.
